Mark Goldstein, Certified Inspector and Owner
A Tahoe local since 2002 and licensed California contractor for over 10 years, Mark Goldstein brings both local knowledge and building expertise in all aspects of home construction. He came to Stateline in 2002 to remodel a dilapidated home on Kingsbury Grade for a friend. Determined to stay in Tahoe, Mark began working for homeowners on jobs ranging from small scale plumbing and electrical work to framing and finish carpentry to large scale residential remodels. Mark expanded his services to 24-hour residential emergency services, informal home inspections with periodic walk-throughs, and caretaker referrals. As Maintenance Supervisor for a 32-unit timeshare, 36-unit mobile home park, and 24-unit mixed-use commercial complex, he was hands-on in daily maintenance and short and long term facility improvement projects. Mark continues to work with homeowners, buyers, and sellers in assessing and performing critical home repairs and system maintenance through partnerships with local real estate companies and referrals.
Always giving back to the community, Mark served on Douglas County Search and Rescue for 12 years and joined El Dorado County Search and Rescue in 2020. He founded Sierra Tahoe Area Rubbish Removal, a non-profit organization that removes man-made materials from remote and lightly traveled areas of the Sierra Nevadas.
